Family Days at the Museum

Join Museum on Main staff and volunteers for an afternoon of family fun on the Museum Lawn! On one Saturday each month in March, June, July, and August from 10am-2pm, children, parents, and grandparents are invited to meet at the Museum on Main for FREE hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and activities that relate to each month's theme. Each Family Day is sure to be an afternoon of fun and unique learning experiences you and your family will not want to miss it!

Large groups are asked to contact the Director of Education in advance at 925-462-2766 or
education@museumonmain.org

2022 Family Day Schedule:

June 4: Old Time County Fair
Activities include carnival games, animal judging, balloon animals, quilting, horse racing, games, and much more.

July 2: Celebrate Community
Get ready for the 4th of July by making paper flag garlands, "firework" pom poms, and writing thank you cards for our local service men and women.

August 6: Old Time Toys and Games
Set aside your worries and enjoy an afternoon playing with toys and games at the Museum on Main! We will be making corn husk dolls, propeller toys, and playing with a variety of old time and retro toys!

September 3: Step Back in Time
Take a step back and learn about life in Pleasanton without modern conveniences. We will be making adobe bricks, dipping candles, stamping leather, and much more!
