Museum on Main welcomes families to celebrate openings of new exhibitions, holidays, and seasons with Family Days! Adults and children enjoy activities such as crafts and art activities, demonstrations, music, performers and other special treats! Activities at Family Days are free of charge.

Calling all toymakers! Join us at Museum on Main for a morning of family toymaking fun. Play with our old time games and wooden toys such as tabletop nine pins, vintage old maid, and paper dolls. Plus, make your own toys to take home! |

| Old Time Tea PartySaturday, June 16th from 10am - 12 noon
Kids bring along your best manners for a Tea Party at Museum on Main. Celebrate the long history of tea and all the ceremony that goes along with drinking the deliciously warm drink. Create your own yummy tea flavor, design a fan and learn the language of fans, make a fancy necklace to wear, and of course enjoy a delicious cup of tea and special treats! Grandparent's DaySunday, September 9th from 1pm - 3pm
Children bring your Grandparents to the Museum on Main for National Grandparents Day! Create a family tree with the help of your Grandparent! Learn about what life was like when they were children and make a special gift to present to your Grandparent. National Grandparents Day was founded in 1973 to honor Grandparents, to give Grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children, to help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older people can offer. |
